hey here are some pics of my bike it's almost done here are some pics to see what you guys think? it's and 84 CR250R that i converted to rear disc i just overhauled the whole motor it's bored .120 over all intake and exhaust and transfer ports have been Ported and Polished has Wiseco Hot Rod Crank and Connecting rod Kit and also polished the Head. so here are the pics let me know what you think so far.

yeah it's gonna rip the seams outta my pockets LOL. the compression ratio is 14:4:1 witch means race fuel and with these gas prices ill be poor :( any 1 know were to get cheap race fuel?


that sounds like a good deal for that cr250 * would ya wanna trade for 2 snowmobiles both are 72 artic cat 440 one is Panther other is the faster model both ran this year till carbs took a crap i guess the diaphrams got dryed out from sitting over the years also they are for sale if anybody wants them make offer. i also have a 88 Cagiva WMX125 and a 86 Cagiva WMX 500 for sale both run make offer.

I would love to have that wmx500. I can remember in the late eighties when a few guys at the local track had some 125 and some 250's. I dont think I ever saw a 500. was that liquid? could you post a pic? did the 5 have the white power susp? I have had my fill of old sleds but thanks anyway.

250RNutt, are you sure you'rs isn't an 86?

Its definetaly a 85,says 1985 on the head tube plus the cylinder is 85 only and I need one but cant find one. the 86 and newer motors had the HPP power valve this one has a weird looking canister with a butterfly valve.

here are a few pics of the 500 and yes it is liquid cooled . as for the the susp. it has ohlins shock in back and Marzocchi forks up front i think there 40mm

how dose that cagiva500 stand up to the cr500??

never got the chance to race 1 but befor i built up the 250 it was olly 80 over with a few other mods and top speed was about 94mph and the 500 passed me in 4th gear with my friend riding it and he was only in 4th shifting into 5th it's fast that all i know
