Engine problem

Have a 1984 Big Red,used max 200hours.
The bike starts but,the problem starts when i push the throttle,
looks like it dosent handle the gas.
Then the bike runs good for a few minuts, then it stoops.
Then it is impossible too get it going.
Could sombody plese give me some tips.

Have you tried cleaning out the carb?

clean the carb..if that doesnt help then move the needle clip up 1 position..that should do it
