Well guys, I'm really struggling right now. Funds are tight and I have the opportunity to pick up a CR500 to convert.

So, my delima is whether to go ahead and sell my Tri-Z parts (I have an 80% complete bike) I also have a complete power valve engine I planned on sticking in it. Or maybe selling my freshly completed 83 250R. Or just trying to wait it out and hope the CR isnt sold be the time I get all the cash together.

I planned on getting the extra Z together for a nice trail bike. Something built just for trail abuse. The 83R is just a buddy bike, but the only guy that rides it is looking at his own bike, so I really wouldn't need it. To be honest that bike runs so good, I hate to sell it, but it really doesn't fit me.

I think I can build the 500 to be a totally ridable bike and maybe I wouldn't need an extra trail bike... Just not sure what to do.

I would make the choice between two projects going on at the same time - you'll never get them both done ..... Keep the '83R, pick either the Z or the 500R conversion.
