Southern Trike Ride...DUNES

We have a bunch of people going to the LA dunes near Alexandria, Louisiana soon. If anyone here wants to go they are more than welcome to do so. The date is march 7-9th (friday-sunday).

So far I know of at least 3 350Xs, 2 250Rs, a 500r, 2 Tecates, and maybe a tri-z or two are definitely coming. Anyone else is more than welcome. I'll post more details if there is any interest. The spot has over 1000 acres of real dunes with 90+ miles of trails. 8)

I'd love to go, but I've got school. Is there gonna be another one sometime in the summer? I'm in for a summer ride almost for sure if it's sometime after mid-June. I want to try dunes so bad.

DAN. Its nice to see an invite from the "ORG guys"(lol) for a ride. This is what its all about. I hope a few(or alot) 3ww.com guys attend. Remember about this years "TRIKEFEST" at HASPIN I would love to see alot of the org crew attend this year.
I am sorry to say that I can't make the LA ride, I wish I could. I hope you guys have a great time. If you ever get up to NY look me up I usually have a spare trike or 3 running, if you are just up site seeing w/o a ride.

I check to see if I can get time off from work to come. Right now another guys ( 2nd shifter ) has the Friday and Sunday taken. I am going to try and talk him out of them so I can come also. Our vaction is messed up at work. They only allow 1 person on the machine I run off a day. I want Thursday night off ( I work 3rd so it's Friday for me ) and the 2nd shift guy has his Friday off. Even though there is 10 people that can run the machine they told me I can't get the day off unless the 2nd shift guy cancels his. I am going to talk to him tonight!!

I'm in for anything that is warmer than it has been.

I should also mention that you CAN camp at the dunes & ride all night if you want! there's also a motel nearby if you don't like roughing it. :D

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. They won't let me have the needed day off. I have tried and tried and tried again. They said They have to stick to the rule of only one person off a day. The boss even ask me if I would come in on that Saturday and work 8hrs.

John has the day off because of surgery ( for what I don't know. Maybe a new brain? lol ). I told him he didn't want to have surgery any how. I even offered him $50 if he would let me have it. lol I am told he will be off for 1-2 weeks after also.

I wished I hadn't used my personal time up now. They can't deny that unless it is the day before a Holiday. arggggggggggggggggg
