handle bars broke

Has anybody ever been sitting on there trike and brake there handle bars? well i swear it happend to me lol its been at least 3 months since ive gone for a real ride on the 250r and when i did ride last i didnt wreck or hit any big jumps or anything. well for the last 3 months ive just been cruising it around the yard and fields and letting her wide open every once and a while but have never even came close to crashing it. well today after riding for a half hour i put my weight on the handle bars hold the front brakes to spin the tires a little and i almost fell on my face becasue my right handle on the bars broke off? so i had to ride home holding my throutle and my front brakes in my hand and doing all turning with my left hand only lol it was pretty tricky but i made it home safely thank god it didnt brake off on one of the long sraight aways or i would have not been so lucky :cry:

you calling me fat? lol im not sure how this happed im thinking it probably had a hair line fracture that got painted over and it just now gave way

That sucks, I was jumpin my BMX bike one day and I landed and the right side broke off, didnt crash but it did suprise me, I would get some Tecate handle bars to replace them, they are strong. and they have the cross brace.

I wouldn't be buying that OEM carbon steel junk. Save up some money and get some renthals, TAG, or Pro taper bars. They last forever.
