Some Questions Restoring 200x

We Have got most of it back together already just need to decide what to to with the engine. We were thinking about sandblasting the fins fo better heat dissipation but I thought I would throw this question out to some of the pros on here that know these things in and out. Also what is the best paint for the case and best way to prep it. Thanks for all your replies

You must get it completely clean...no dirt,oit ,gease or grime. I had my motor out when I was restoring my 200x so I sealed up the exhaust and intike real good with tape. got as much stuff off with a small wire brush then blasted it good with a high pressure hose and hot water. Maybe that's why I have no spark anymore. well anyway clean it up as best you could the get some high temp engine paint. mine came out pretty good
