crf 50's handle bar kits

has anyone put this kit on with the longer throttle cable. how do you get the old cable out of the cap that screws on the carb? im strugglin. thanks max

Just did one for my friends kid last week. White bros kit came with new cap for carb.Like a 86r cap and cable stay one piece.

Same with the BBR kit I installed. I also took the 8" bars off and put on 6" bars as my son is only 6 years old and didn't need the raise.
Isn't there a clip or a nut that holds the cable to the cap??
