my beloved R trashed.

i just got home. i was playing on some hills showing up some golf carts when the horrible happened. all i can say is thank god for helmets. i came off a jump with one rear wheel alot lower then the rest. i hit and bounced. i got thrown off the trike but it found a tree. the damag i have found so far is broken headlight, front fender, rear fender, pipe dented badly, rear axle bent and bars bent. i used to be able to say i have one of the nicest a/c 250r 's around but not no more. it makes me sick. it also is not getting any spark but i havnt investigated it too much. as far as my injuries i am just scraped up. so i am looking for parts.

oh yeah and the worst. my mint tank is cratered on one side. pics will be soon.

well now i think i will just get it running cause i really want to start on my a/c 480r. and i am trying to avoid all set backs.

Building something and putting a lot of work into it, then something happens, and it's crap. You want to rebuild it, but you are so depressed, you want to cry.

that was kinda the icing on the cake. i am staying up late working on it. it somehow got spark again and cranked up. i was able to heat gun the front fender and kind of form it in. the tank i pushed out some with a hammer handle ( now it holds more then a half of gallon.. the exhaust is ugly but works. back fender i drilled holes on the end of the cracks, dont need a headlight. but the back axle is still bent. i have a + 4 in the garage that i was saving fot the 480r but i think i will buy a stock one off of ebay and start replacing parts as i find mint oem parts. but right now it is drivable at slow speeds. forgive my spelling i have had 8 XX. so iam buzzed.

oh and also, they quad guys wernt hating. i think they were more in AH!!!. i was right on there tails through the trails and jumping what they were with alot more grace. i think i made a positive influence. all them guys agreed it would of been much worse if i would of done the same thing on a quad. i love jumping just need work on the landing part.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I had the SX all finished and painted up, then hit a deep gulley the rain washed out and destroyed hundreds of $$ of nice new and painted parts - love hurts...

Sorry too hear, glad you're ok. On the up side I'd much rather see a trike wrapped around a tree then rusting out in some stubborn old mans barn that refuses to sell.

Clean her up, say some sweet nothings in her ear, and she'll be good as new in no time.
