Extensions ???

Just bought a set of 3" hub extensions(e-bay,not here yet) for my '85 250sx. Just wondering if any body else has ever used them, or has any input on the pros (stability, of course) and cons of them. Will they take hard riding/small jumps? Looks like I may have to buy new bolts. Any recomendations ;hardened,stainless steel,grade??

I have a set on my "Confussed X", they hold up pretty good I've had some nice air and they are still in one piece. They are a pain to take off amd on...

You must be careful on jumps because they will put more stress on the axle causing it to bend easier. But it should hold up pretty good though
