i think that you should send that tri z up my way if its giving you so much trouble :naughty: :welcome:
i have seen that louis mielke(sp?) has mated the top half of a Cr500 swinger with the lower half of a 400ex swingarm. go to www.atc500r.com for all the details (free advertisement, louis...lol :p )

Are you saying you want to convert your rear of your CR 500 to accept a trike axle?
This is much simpler than you think! The way I have it figured for my conversion is to have aluminum plates fabricated just like the Tri-Z's rear. That way all you have to do is bolt on a complete banshee rear carrier assembly and brake caliper. DONE! With some careful planning, you can also adjust ride height by several inchs this way too.
The front end is the tricky part.

Thanks for the advertisment. lol. Anywho, If you really have the clams to shell out, call up leagers and beg them to make you one of their conversion swing arms. I bet if you can pony up enough bucks they'll do it.
The Tri-Z/Banshee setup will work, my preference though is the honda design. I just was never very partial to the way that yamaha mounted their axel carriers. A couple bolts come loose & fall out your carrier and axel pull out, wrench sideways, spill the bike, snap the chain, snap a brake line, etc etc. Who knows what could happen under all that torque..I'm sure anyone who drags banshees could paint lotsa colorful pictures from their experiences.
