Ok, after taking the 250r for a few spins I decided that it was time for the front end to start becoming airborn. Well as soon as the front end leaves the ground, it darts hard to the left. I have adjusted the air pressure in the tires and it is perfect. I dont really know what else to check on it, is there something to do with the axle that could be causing this, I know that its not bent but maybe misaligned somehow??

Axle bearing maybe? They feel tight? Try switching the rear tires around and see if it still does it, maybe you have one tire a little taller than the other.
Dammit!

Tire spinning on the rim was my first thought.

hi!!
on you on the gas or off the gas when it pull?
if you are on the gas it is a torque pull.on some trikes it is normal.

I am going to try switching the tires around and see what happens. I never have noticed it really untill you get the front end up, then not only is it a ride (haulin *** doing a wheelie) but you have to worry about going in the ditch because its pulling so bad.
did you put your bike up on a stand and run it in gear and watch the rear axel to see if its bent? my trikes axel is bent and when you wheelie it pulls hard to the left..

I agree with X system. Check your tires. Even though you have the same pressure in them, one could be taller than the other. This is usually caused when seating the beads. If one seats at 15 lbs and one at 35 lbs, the one that seats at 35 lbs seems to be a bit taller and also will balloon up more at higher speeds. I dont know how fast you are going when you are wheeling, but it might be something to check out.

swingarm could be bent like this \\ , obviously not that much, but it could be a little...

lay a rope on the ground.. roll the tire on it. and measure the circumference...
check both tires for same lengh of rope !!!!
lugs tight on both sides ? hopefully not slipping on the splines !! )
Swing arm bearings.

A bent swingarm won't make it pull when the front is off the ground.

yeah it will, my 95 blaster had a bent swingarn and no matter what i did it wouldnt run straight, and when i noticed the swinger was tweaked i changed it and wheelied perfect.

LOL, sorry but that's not it. Having a bent swinger would be the same as a bent frame, when you lift the front off the ground the only things it can be is anything associated with the rear axis.

I havent had a chance to swap the tires yet (I am busting my arse on the 200X) but I looked at them and one does seem to look a little taller than the other. I should know maybe tommorow

I'd be looking at your axle splines/hub splines. Just my $.02

It has an almost New DuraBlue +2 axle in it, So i dont think that could be an issue, but I will make sure, Thanks for the input Bruce

Not to correct anyone but I think your bolth right on the swingarm deal. if its bent from the top or bottem it will not change the pull of the bike. but if it is bent from the side like from impact than yes it will pull. but it would pull like that all the time. kinda like a quad will dog walk when its bent, so I dont think that a bent swingarm is the problem.sorry I just didnt whant to you guys drop the gloves when you bolth have your good points.

After you have no point to adjust the bikes tracking, the machine would naturally follow the path of least resistance. The bike would be cocked to one side or the other, but its direction wouldn't change signifiacantly, unless it was so severe as to cause the weight to be biased greatly to one side. At that point, the bike would be completely unrideable and it would be jumping the chain. I mean, anythings possible - but thats highly improbable. A bad bearing wouldn't cause it either since it would effect the whole axle wheather it was the left or right side one. My guess would be a tire issue or a stripped spline as has been said before.

are your splines gone cuase my x did the same thing when the spline and axle got stripped. is it a one wheel wonder? if so then it is your splines
