View Full Version : need help finding a/c 250r parts
where can i buy performance parts for my 1983 250r, i have tried to stay on ebay, but i am never around to bid on anything. i have tried on here to buy parts with not much luck. so is there anywhere to buy new parts. also i need to a new rear master cylinder, caliper and line. is there any aftermarket company that sales one for the 83R. i am kinda stumped and need to finish one project before i start another. also how practical is it to make your own extended swinger. also how long should i get it.

www.denniskirk.com for aftermarket parts like pipes and fork springs, pistons and wheel spacers...just go to the right hand side of the main page and click on Off Road in the make/model/year search.
Ebay for the brake parts and anything else rare or hard to find.
As for the swingarm, what do you need it extended for? Hill climbs, drag racing or just for looks? Depending on the motor mods 4 inches should be fine for hillclimbing and drag racing, 2 inches just to keep the front end down a little better for all around riding.
well then i will go 2" on the swingarm, for exhaust all dennis kirk has is dg, which i am not a big fan. my bars i got from them but had to get cr250 bars and make them work.

Well.... Progressive Suspension still sells aftermarket front and rear springs to stiffin up the ride/replace those 20 yr old coils. www.progressivesuspension.com
Once and awhile, you can find a motor with the 300R kit on ebay. :naughty: One went through with NO bids!
Billy (HondaATC) has a rear calipar that will work in the classifieds now... just have to find a piston to put in it!
About it for now.... oh... seems like FTZ will still port heads.... DG still sells exhausts.....
