check oil , if it gets hot right after 30 seconds could also mean it needs rings, do compression test.

I think it's gonna be tough to find a blue one. I ordered a yellow one from my local Yamaha dealer a while back & when I went to pick it up it was a black one that arrived. So I start chewing on the guy @ the counter & the owner comes over & says "just let me go look upstairs in my stash" Comes back down with a dusty old bag (still sealed up) & lo & behold, a yellow fender with a shipping date of Dec 84 on the tag.
This guy has a wicked collection of trikes & OEM parts. I have seen most of his trikes but he won't show me his parts stash. He is very reluctant to sell any of these parts. His collection isn't as sweet as the Kearney museum but it is a close second IMO.
Back in the late 80s he had to send back the steering heads on all of his new trikes or get his franchise revoked. (He sells both Yamaha & Honda for as long as anyone can remember) Anyway, he welded steering heads off of some kind of dirt bikes or whatever back on these trikes & wheeled them home. Next time I'm in there for parts I'll hit him up to get some pics, I'm pretty sure He'll let me. He also has some of those (Yamaha?) bikes that have the big tires just like trikes have. Not sure what they are called. He also has some of the wildest looking vintage snowmobiles.
The time before the fender incident when I was there he showed me his latest acquisition. A 1985 200S that he sold new to a Dr. in 85. The Dr. was retiring & moving & gave the trike back to this guy for free just so it could be displayed. Not a scratch anywhere & the original tires still had the tits on them. Just never drove it I guess. I have bought new tires in the past & wore the tits off of the tires in an afternoon of trail riding.
