in the rearend of a trike or quads is castrol hypoy C 80w90 gear oil alright to use?

I use Honda Hypoid 80w in my SX.

that should be fine... but i bet it varies a tad upon model and make ..

Your Castol is fine. It's all I run in my yamaha rears.
