Engine Oil

I need an oil change on my newly acquired ATC250 es.
Specs call for 50 weight oil and I have some Castrol sittin' in the garage.

Will I be hurting the trike by using Castrol GTX 20w50?

20/50 is pretty heavy.... summer is around the corner, i'd say get some 10/30 instead.

Don't forget that your 250 has an OIL FILTER.. you should replace it as well .

I have been running 250es`s since they came out in 1985 and have always used Castrol GTX 10w 40. We use them all year round and haul wood with them in the winter. Never had a hitch with the engines burning oil. :Bounce
