will the aluminum front fender support from my 85 200x fit other trikes? as far as i know you have to drill holes in the fender but what about where it mounts to your triple trees? what all trikes had these same supports on them?

It will fit a 350x/2nd and 3rd generation R's, but I think the holes that go on the fender is to wide for a 350X.

Nope.... The 83-84R NEVER had the option of the stabilizer. It was only available for the ATC's that had "over fenders" or fender extenders as I call them.

The 83-85 200X stabilizer LOOKED wider, because it is ~ 2" shorter than the 350X one. The holes that mount to the fender itself are about ¼"-½" narrower. However, it will line up exactly on the triple tree, just not sure how it'll line up on the fender with it being 1½" shorter in length.

The 85-86R one is definitely too wide for a 350X or 200X.

So Kevin, give it a shot.... heck, even bring it along this Saturday and we'll mount it up before we go ride! BTW... you wanna crash here Saturday night then head back to Indiana Sunday morning??

Well Bruce i was just curious because i was thinking about making one. I know it sounds hillbilly and possibly would even end up getting scrapped but hey it's worth a shot. I was reading a online article and i guess a router or a rotozip will cut the aluminum just fine. I was going to trace mine off of my 200x and duplicate it but oh well...... i may try it anyway just to see if i can do it succesfully.

Thanks for the offer but i think i'm just going to come on home saturday. I will get a good nights sleep thursday and friday and just see how far i can make it. I might have a friend with me anyway just because i dont want to drive that far by myself. LOL. I also need to work on my 200x, sandblast some 250sx parts, and probablly clean the carb and everything else on the 350x so i really would like to be home late saturday.
