I have a Tri-Zinger and am looking to get the Fender as clean as possible before I put on my Red Metal Flake Flame Vinyl. I want the fender to look as good as Possible so the Flames really stick out. Whats the best stuff to clean a fender. Its not really scratched more like scuffed.

from what i see, it looks like they're a bit oxidized. I had real bad oxidization on my yellow fenders, i scratched all the crap off with a razer blade. Then I started using chainsaw's technique. Then I polished them, there pretty good now...

I do the same thing but did not read the link yet. I'll check it out.
Read the link and it's simular to what I do but never ued the compound or carried it thru to a 2000 grit.
I'll have to give it a try!
Thanks!
