Mr. Sandman said I should start a poll. Sounded like a fun idea. I think the other post is getting a little crazy, and I want to lighten the mood. We are all here for the same reason right? :TrikesOwn This is all in good fun, I am not mad at anyone, and I won't get mad at anyone. :beer So, who likes it, who hates it? Like I said, all in good fun, I WILL NOT get upset with anyone.

I think the machine is different in a cool sort of way. You need to bring it to TF. It is sure to turn heads. ;)

FYI, I wouldn't worry about what the one user said in the other thread. That user complains about everything that isn't his. The only way it would be good enough for him is if he owned it.

Yeah i dont even like homemades... only a few but there is something about yours... and also come to think of it EVERY trike is cool and unique in their own way.. nice job

yeah that thing is sweet....the only thing i dont care for is the skinny front tire.....by the way....how is that thing to turn?

i like it all w/ the exception of the front wheel...but its still cool. maybe the small tire is what make it unique

I also think its cool. Very origional. I agree, that it needs a wider front tire on it....mabey you could get some triple's made and swap in a 350X front end this winter.

Other than that...as long as you are having fun riding it, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it

I would love to get a 350X front end. There are a lot of trikes in junkyards and stuff around here, but they are all old, solid front end trikes. I am keeping my eyes open though.

I wont say whather it looks or whether it looks silly - to each his own! I will say that after listening to all the "Armchair Mechanics" talking crap every week about how they are "gonna put this motor in that frame, blah, blah, blah....", It is very refreshing to see somebody who actually took their ideas some where beyond hearing distance of their own mouth and built something that they can ride. I have great respect for doers. I have no respect for talkers. Kudos 400ccHomemade! Youve built something from a pile of scrap that was probably rotting away that you should be proud of. Nobody has room to knock it unless they have built something better. Anybody can go BUY something nice. I want to see what the guys who knock your project have built. You have my respect.

I think it is awesome, you built it yourself wich deserves credit right there, not to mention it has an awesome powerplant and I am sure it hauls arse. I wouldnt mind having it in my driveway, lol. Awesome job :w00t:

Yesterday I went for a nice ride on the trike-from-hell with a buddy of mine on his 4 wheeler. I actually rode 2-up with my girlfriend. The guy on the 4 wheeler had his girlfriend too. We went on some rough trails, dirt roads, and some woods riding. Some mud too. I went everywhere he went. The difference however, was he was totally clean, I was mud head to toe. I was exhausted when we got home, he was totaly fresh. So, mine will get out there and get down and dirty, but my body takes a beating! Oh, and a thick stick kicked up and stabbed me in the shin. That part sucked. It hit me hard enough to actually slow the trike down a little. I was able to complete the day, even though I was a sore puppy. Bottom line: my contraption is better than nothing, but lets just say when I come across some money, a "real" atv or atc is in my future.
