200x?? frame with swingarm/axle/junk motor, front forks 100$

at the local wheeler shop out in their junkyard a guy has a pieced together a suspened frame to a 200x with a whole bunch of different trike parts, he wants 100 for it, think its worth it to get the frame and build a nice X???? there is a motor in it but i dont have any idea what it is or the condition. also my friend just got busted by the stateys on his 4 wheeler goin 60 haha lucky i werent with him, he was goin home from my house. the stateys let him off this time

If the frame is not bent or cracked it might be a bargain. Might not be the ideal project tho.

If you want a project then go for it. Is it cheaper to built a 200x then buy a complete one, well probably not. It's you money do what you want.

yeah the frame is good, i think.. but the 250sx that i was going to buy had been in a very bad rollover and the frame was most likely junk. this X has a motor i just dont know if it can be rebuilt to run. no tires, i dont know what year the frame is, and i think the axle is still good.

You might want to pass on this deal, sometimes you never know what your getting into with the engine, repair/rebuilding cost can add up fast. But on the other hand, if it's a simple rebuild and just that, it is worth it.

Just saying you never know how much engine work your going to have to do.

There is a 350X up here for sale, way to much money tho for what it is.

If your just looking for something to fix and ride then it doesn't sound worth it. I bought a rollong frame (no engine, brakes, or plastic) off ebay for $76 a few weeks ago but I am doing a full restoration on it.

yeah, i dont know ill look and see what kind of condition its in sometime this week, hey Triker you didnt happen to notice that 87 R for sale did you?? i dont know but i believe it said 3 wheeler... too bad i aint got money this time of the year or id try and get ahold of one of those 350X's they all usually run 1700 though.

If it says it's a 3 wheeler I would recommend someone get in contact w/the seller. Up here in Maine you never know what your going to find, someone could of bought it in Canada and taken it back to the (you).S.

yeah, but it seems like they never have 200x's.. id like to find one, but if i cant my only option is to build one.
