View Full Version : Another trike back to life before/after pics

Well as some of you remember, I bought a 85 250ES Big red out of a field that was sitting there for over 5 years. I got it for 50$ and figure I would end up parting it out. But with the help of Howard and Swinehart(for parts) I got that sucker running flawlessly. I took it out last night for a long mud bog and it did great! I put a nice front fender on it and put maier rears. I also put a plastic tank(little faded but I covered it with a bra) on it to not have to deal with the rusty one.
Well now time to hit the 125m and 200s I got.:doh:

Well that question is a hard one. It just depends on the terraine. On a nice MX track or flat track the 85r rocks, on hill climbs and trails, the 350x, on mud bogs and what not the Big red does it, on lesure trail rides the SX works great, and for just playing around being crazy the 110/125m/200s work great! hahaha

lol thats what i need, i ride various terrains, and the big red doesnt cut it for sand/gravel pit riding, or hill climbing.

i forgot about those tank bras do they make those for a 200x, id love to cover my plastic faded tank, i guess i could make one myself with my excellent sewing skills.

Well.... I need to call CEET back and see if they still have the tank covers I sent them and if they got my new set of pics to get the 350X and 250R decals straightened out.....

Yeah, hurry up! I miss the tank cover that I sent you almost a year ago for my 81 R.

Got off the phone with CEET.... Now I know why my emails haven't gotten answered.... Travis no longer works for them.... the lady I talked to is going to check into it, and call me back tomorrow. :mad:
