I just put in a brand new carb, the bike sounds great and rides very nice for the first time in a while. The only thing is tjat its smoking. Its not alot but when I rev it it wont smoke once I let go of the throttle is when it smokes and akso when I down shift. I dont think it's blue smoke it's more like just white smoke. It comes out of the exhaust and from the tip of the head pipe. What can cause this. It has plenty of oil.

I've never heard of white smoke from running lean. White usually means water or condensation. Oil smoke has a blue tint.

Can't you usually tell by the smell of the smoke if it's burning oil or not?
run some plug chops and get it jetted correctly, search the forums on jetting there are zillons of threds on it
