I want to get rid of the big bulky handlebar switch. The idea i have is to get rid of the switch and leave the ignition switch hot (on) and just have a kill switch. Simple enough. But I need the headlight!!! So I am going to fabricate or CNC a billet aluminum switch bracket for a small two way toggle switch. There will not be two switches for headlight on/off, and hi beam/low beam. But I want a two position switch...headlight on low and headlight on hi. You know how a two position toggle is off in the middle and you can switch it up or down.. This is my idea. All I will have is a kill button and one small hidden switch that will combine the headlight on /off with the hi beam low beam. I don't want to cut my harness though. I will either E-Bay a new harness or just run my own wires from the harness plug at the frame.. Has anybody else got rid of the factory switch and kept the headlight?????????????????
