I painted mine with rustoleum white primer and white high gloss. that costed about 1.80 pounds. There's also PJ1 paint, it's made for painting frames and comes in factory colors, I guess it's more durable, never used it. a little more expensive.

I have had frames blasted and painted with an epoxy based base coat, and clear coat. it is expensive about $50 a pint, but very durable and looks great.

What about powdercoating? I know its more expensive than paint, but it also depends where you go. It looks awesome, and you will never need to paint the frame again.

I will only paint my stuff with Dupont Imron brand paint, or powdercoat it. Imron is not very cheap...the regular paint alone is around $40 a quart not including the clearcoats/primer.
