honda motor paint?

ok ive got my red and black 200x and i want to do the motor gloss black, i think. or would the 250r motor color look good? well what is the color of the original honda motor color code or something where can i get it

Are you talking about the gun metal grey/silver on the 86 motors or just plain old gloss black. Any high temp engine paint should hold up on your motor. The trick is clean up the motor as best you can. Get all the oil, grease and grime off there first. I used a little wire brush an airhose and a powerwasher. Escpecially have to clean out those cylinder fins real good. I think I even wiped it all down with some rubbing alchohol before I shot 3 or 4 nice even coats on it. Mine came out like new until I had to pull the motor out 2 morew times lol. Got a little scratched up but it only takes a little while to touch it up. Hoped I helped some.
