All right. Since I got so much good feedback and help in my first battery of questions, I'll ask some more.

#1. What type of tires should I get for it. I'm looking for a better look, some more traction in dirt, sand and light mud, and want a smaller size. Right now, I have the stockers on it, H-Trak II Pro-Am's, which are tall, bouncy and totally worthless tractionwise.
#2. What type of aftermarket filter should I get? I've seen UNI and K&N advertised, and the K&N costs like 3 times more.
#3. What is the easiest way to blow/dry out wet packing in my muffler? It's a cause of problems for me, and I want to get rid of it. My friend said that compressed air won't do jack **** as far as blowing it out goes, he just said mob the hell out it. Not wanting to blow my engine up, there must be an easier way. The muffler is stock and doesn't have a removable core.

#1

How small are you wanting to go? I personally like the look of 18'' Titan Fast Trekkers on a 110. They are low profile and it will be a rough ride. Or, 18'' Turf Tamers will give good traction and and look cool as hell too.

#2

As far as K&N and UNI goes, it all depends on which one like better. There really isn't a difference in performance. If properly mantained, they both filter the same. I would save a few bucks and get the UNI.

#1 if your using the stock rims (11x8) then you can pretty much go with any size of tyre, as long as the last number for the tyre size is 8, i.e 20x11x8 18x10x8 22x9x8. if you want a lower square profile tyre then look at tyres such as Maxxis Razor and ITP Holeshot.

by going to 18 inch tyres you will be loosing a fair amount of ground clearance and if you do decide to run a 200x front end you will have issues with the bike turning "chopper" style as the 200x forks are a fair bit longer than the original forks, plus add the extra 1.5inch from the 23.5x8x11 200x front tyre. but you can also get the square low profiles in 22x11x8 configurations so you have the best of both worlds.

www.denniskirk.com and rockymountainatv.com are a couple of good places to look for tyres.

#2 asking this question on any atv forums usually incure a heated argument about which is better. depending on use and maintenace they both have there advantages. i personally prefer a UNI over a K&N as UNI's do not need speacial cleaning and oiling products.

#3 i am not sure if the stock exhaust is re-buildable, but you could try using a Oxy torch to slowly evaporate all the water out.

i hope i have helped out with this extremely long post.

I had an idea in English class today, about how to make the trike not as "chopper" looking...

I agree that with the 200x fork and smaller tires, it might look a bit lopsided, shorter in back... I think i might be able to fix that by raising the rear fender mounts (at the very back of the trike) a few inches, but keep the clip in the front of the rear fender the same. You get my meaning? It will both straighten out the seat and make it flat again, and all I'll have to do is move the bars a bit forward to compensate for my position... and that'll make it look cool too...

yes, you may be rid of the "look" but you will still be stuck with the effects of the heightened front end. turning will be harder as the front end will want to push instead of turn because the centre of gravity has been heightened and pushed backwards, you will also experience unwanted wheelying.

Triker Great answers,! Especially on the filter debate lol. Uni usuaully cost about half of k&n. I personally recommend dumping the split rims, and hubs going to the 4 bolt pattern. Here is a before and after pic of mine. Funny thing same size tires, lol. Thats what airpresure does to them I guess.

Yep yep yep Jenndnn3. I've decided to not buy a filter unless my ghetto rigged Quadrunner foam doesn't work well... Nice tires hahaha. You know what sucks? The H-Trak tires don't even have an operating PSI label on them, it says to check with the manufacturer or dealer. that is retarded...

Isn't that an oxymoron? haha

yea, but you know what i mean, if your in a situation where you dont want the front wheel to come up and it does, it could send into dangerous situation.

Due to the bad power of the 110, and the fact that I run it in high range all the time, I'm thinking wheelying isn't a problem I'll face in any gear other than 1st.

Cause you have to run tubed tires with them, and only crappy companies like Nankang still make tubed tires. Life is a *****. :(

no, you dont HAVE to run rubed tires on split rims.

Correct, just make sure the o-ring between the two wheel halves is in good shape.

ok. I guess I'm running tubeless tires from now on. I think it might be cause they weigh more. And they need bolts to hold them together.

I just bought AMS-Fox A/T's 22-11-8 all around for the 125 M. I should be picking up the Trike this week and let you know how they are. I got em for the Agressive V type Knobby Pattern and I figure they can clear mud and snow real good. The V pattern makes for a nice stable smooth ride at speed.
