OK here is the deal, Bruce, Dyno and "the math failing brother"

We are leaving Wed the 8th of June. I would like to shoot for a 9AM departure, that puts us in Laurel, IN at 9PM or so. (I wasnt too huge on getting there at 3-4 in the morning the last couple of times!

All on board will be
Me
350XinNY
Dynofox
and Dynos "mathmatically challenged" sibling.

I am bringing YT175 and 250R
Bruce is bringing a 250R and 350X
Dyno 250R
400EX

This should fit just fine, same configuration we took to TF 03

ALL of us should be able to sleep in the rig
Bring lots of GAS MONEY,Im guessing 3 tanks each way $60 per tank. Im covering the first and last tank fulls only, the rig leaves full, and gets parked at home full. I have spent over $2000 preparing the scud for TF, between a trailer, and new tires (just felt better getting new for such a long trip)

Since we are "boondocking" (going out with no hookups) Im sorry to say that the toilet and shower are OFF LIMITS, otherwise I will be looking for somewhere to dump your bodily wastes (not really digging that!)

FOOD: There is a stove-top, oven and microwave but remember the more disposable the cooking and packaging is the better. best bet is some cold cuts and some other individually wrapped snacks or microwavable hot pocket type stuff. We probably should just think about it on the first leg of the trip and hit Tops in Hornell or Olean or something.

GEAR: There is plenty of storage in there for gear, however remember that a large suitcase is a NO NO. It is much better to bring small bags that will fit in a compartment to reduce interior clutter, there is nothing worse than taking up what limited floor space we have available with a gigantic suit case. :D sleeping bags, pillows and towels, etc are your own responsibility

try not to bring any junk, the only example I can really think of is 5 milk crates of old Dirt Wheels mags!
No mechanical parts INSIDE the rig, no tires no gas cans, dirty boots, helmets,NOTHING

You are all welcome to enjoy the luxury of scudding to TF, just remember one thing. This vehicle is my familys vacation home, please treat it as you would as a guest in anyone elses home. I know I am fortunate to have as company a responsible group of adults. This will be a very pleasureable trip for all of us. Any questions/comments just let me know.

One more thing, probably the most important! The trailer assembly party and trike/gear drop off date is Saturday June 4th! Please be there!

Sounds like a plan Holic.... :beer Where can I put the 8 cases of Genny Cream Ale for Swinehart? :p Remember, beverages on the trailer didn't pan out too well last year! hahhaha

I have a wedding thing to go to on the 4th.... that's why I was gearing for this weekend.... might be later that night and Sunday that I can help with the trailer.

Sounds good holic, thanks for making room for my brother (Kyle). :w00t: You want us to bring our rides on the 4th and leave them or can we just bring them on the wed morning we are leaving? I was hoping to get some ride time in on my R that sunday, make sure everything is good to go since as of now my damn swinger isn't back from being PC'd. 2 week turn around time my ass! LOL

you should tutor him. Trailer came today, but the clowns did NOT send the leaf springs! I started to assemble it and got to the leaf spring and axle part and was like WTF????!!!!! I gotta call the guy tomorrow AM.

There's a local guy hear that is trying to sell a couple trailers....

"Lawn Mower Trailer, Beaver Tail/tilt/ dual axle - 6' by 14' $800; 6' x 12' - $700

607-522-4132, Prattsburg area... buy one of those and tell the other guy to shove it!

Bruce

PS -- 9am departure? I just saw that... sorry, but I can't take another day off.... I can't get out of work any earlier than say 1-2pm. You'll have my trikes and I can meet you in Hornell, so by the time you drove to my place and loaded up, it probably set the "Express" back like 45 to an hour.. won't have that on the way out. SO why don't you shoot for noon like we did last year... should get us out there like at 11pm... plus we hopefully won't get lost like last year!

Bruce

I think you will be sick that day and have to call in.
