well the p.v. 250r project came to a screeching alt today.my 91 cr motor is wasted.not sure what is going on but there is massive aluminum deposits in the oil and resting in the cases.it's not the clutch and there is a grinding noise when you spin it over.bad deal.two weeks to trikefest and the 86 has no motor.

next on the bad side of things the 85 had bad rear carrier bearings.so i bought bearings and in the process discovered the housing was cracked.another 150.00 bux i did not plan on spending.

no big deal just had to vent.the trike god is not being to kind this week,lol

brandon it is crank case bearings and rod not to expensive. just make sure to rinse it out well after TF if you need help man hit me up ohh and while i am at it i want you to consider this if you have lets say 700 bucks i will trdae with you for your 85R i have a 2001 CR 250 that is a beast to ride. (i am not suppose to say but i have a few bottom end parts that are hard to get let alone the piston has been machined for broadened power curve and wiseco hot rod cank and rod. basically what i am saying is you put that motor in your 86 frame i will almost guarantee it will out run these 500r's that people are building you will see it at TF dont worry and i will let you ride.

max on the day off all days my graduation party is tommorrow. hey brandon let me get the cylinder and a new piston from you and i will take it to get the piston machined big power up i mean it will broaden the power band and increase the power big time it is 40 bucks the power band also comes in at 1/2 throttle versus 7/8 i am tellin you it is a secret of the pros

let me know,i've been cravin to get back on two wheels after ridin the 97 cr500 last weekend.and as far as somkin a 5er on the 86,it seems unlikely,but you never know.more usable power IS more effecient then power that spins or wheelies real bad.
