I finally got my cases cleaned up, painted, and fresh bearings put in, and together. now my problem is, with only the neutral, and gear stop arms on the shift drum, I can turn it and shift through all the gears fairly smoothly. But when I put in the drum shifter, and the guide plate, it won't shift at all. Am I putting these in wrong(my clymers manual doesn't have very good pictures) or could i have the shift forks in wrong? I'm at a stopping point again, it's starting to get to me. thanks for any help
