I bought some new chain adjusters for my 200x because the right side one is broken. I sat down to start changing them a few minutes ago and realized that this may be a bigger job than I thought. Do I have to take out the swingarm bolt? I just got through reading about how much of a *itch it is. I'm worried :( .

Any thoughts?

yep you have to take the swing arm bolt out to replace the chain adjusters, and while its out you might as well check out the swing arm bearings and if they are in decent shape slap some grease in there and the seals and put it all back together.

Yep... what he said. You can almost expect with certianty that the bolt is frozen in there and your bearings are shot. Good luck with that. :wondering

A good idea is once you get that swing arm bolt out(may the force be with you)put a grease fitting in.Next time you want to remove the bolt it will slide right out.Try it you'll like it.

Thanks for the tip :beer . Simple, yet effective :D .

Edit: Where is a good place to find/buy swingarm bearings? I might as well get some new ones on there way.

its not that much of a b*!#h in fact it is pretty easy, you just got to take off your kicker side foot peg and your rear brake cylinder (remember where and how you took the spring for the brake pedal off). Put you 3 wheeler up on a brick or something and slide the bolt right out it is very easy that way
