well, i went to the drags and dominated my class yesterday...i ran in the 250-400cc 2/s 4/s trail modified class....the racing was fun, but i love looking at the time slips...

according to my timeslip, i ran 0-60 ft in 2.547 seconds and my 300 ft time was 6.535 seconds.... my top speed was 68.9 mph i know it isnt that fast, but i did 3 runs and they were all about the same, so at least i am consistent.... my dad took the lt954rr and did 0-60 ft in 1.9 seconds and did the 300 ft in 4.8 seconds...

i am finishing up my +4 swinger this week, so i should be able to gain a half second or so off my time...i can take pics of my slips, but they will suck cause the ink on the slips is really hard to see...

wheelie bar comes to mind? with that 954rr...* put that engine into a suzuki z 400 or ltz 250 frame?

oh a quadracer frame...my friend has an 04 ltz 250 quadsport..i didnt think that engine would fit in the frame..lol..and besides that its shaft driven

holy crap !

That's 0-60 feet in 1.9 seconds. Excellent and comparable to a quick asphalt time. Congrats :cool:

0-60 FEET ... oh.. now that makes more sense... phew.. i was thinkin 0-60 mph !!!

Just a FYI but a stock 954 does 0 to 60mph in just over 2 seconds.

Obviously he didnt use the '04 frame from an Beginner/Intermediate class sport quad thats shaft drive. The '80's frames were much bigger, and Im sure he had to do more cutting to get it in.

oh yeah, we did some "minor" frame mods....lol....yeah i thought it was pretty cool to know that a stock bike does 0-60 feet in just over 2 seconds, and we used a stock motor in a quad in loose dirt with holeshot's and got 1.9....and that isnt even its full potential...she doesnt need a wheelie bar tho, right now it has a +6 swinger and it is too much, it spins too much and cant lift the front enough, we are going to make another swinger +4 and test that out.....i will post pics in a couple minutes... oh, and it was originally a 85' lt250r, and it has a had a bunch of motors in it in the past, first was a gs550 4 cyl a/c motor, then a katana 600 motor(i blew it up), then a cr500 motor( dont even go there) and now this one.....which i think we will stick with, considering it already smokes big bore stroker shee's and big bore 250R's that are made specifically for drag racing...
