There was no real domination. It was way too muddy at the track to get serious. Alot of people left their machines parked. But as for the people that DID run, Billy ran the fastest on his 500, doing 58 or so in 300 ft.

Well Xowner is right. During the official drags, Billys 500r did the fastest time of 58mph and was the fastest. I had hagen's radar gun to use, so I know for sure the times haha. Looks like I will be taking over the drag racing section next year to assist the guys. I hope we can get some really accurate times and mph.

I know this for sure, I saw Timsr's Tri-z get smoked two times in a row by a Honda 250R, two different ones. :)
And he also came in third behind two R's at the MX track. :p
R's rule hehehehehe!

Billy was definately the fastest trike there but did'nt make it into the finals. I think I heard he got stuck in some of that nasty Haspin mud. The 310 ct was one helluva fast trike but still got beat by billy. The top four were the 310 ct First place, myself on my 350x in second, another 350x in third (not sure of his name), and Max in fourth. Technically Max would have gotten second and me fourth but Max pulled an awsome 300 ft. wheelie down the track for the crowd.
Never seen the Zilla at the strip.

MAX pulled an awesome wheelie...I'm not sure if he was planning that or had a bad start, wheelied and improvised into a crowd pleaser...he got a round of applause after that...my hat is off to the guy...that track was rutted, sloppy, and nasty.

I got most if not all of it on Video too!!!! While I wanted to Drag the 1/2 car for the fun of it, I thought everyone else would like to have see the drags on video. ;)
There was no doubt it was a great time. I wasn't doing the speed at the end, but it shure looked like the track was getting faster and faster the more they ran.

I'll take credit for third, and credit for not being partial, I beat them Airfoolers, Pumpers, and Z's all the same. Now you know my name!!!

Great job roosty. The 350x's were definately gettin the hook. I bet the finals would have been a whole lot different if the track was dry.

I liked the pairings ... I really loved going up against the CT310 in the first round on my stocker :w00t: I think that's who it was...he was down the track so fast I hardly saw him... anybody get a pic of the white flash that blew by me? :wondering
I wasnt in it for any trophies...I had a blast just ripping down the track a few million times.

Yes, seperate classes would be nice. Did'nt care about the trophy neither, I was having sooooo much fun. I know there were alot of trikes there that would of kicked my butt.
If ya want 350xhilaration, we could check with Tim Sr. and try to put in a hand next year to help organize seperate classes and how it would work out. Tim, Howdy, Billy, and Derrick and many others allready had there hands full trying to organize all the other fun events for the weekend. And they did an awsome job of it.

I loved it so much had a blast the whole time. Thanks to ScottZJ for the hint of starting in second really helped me out. From 42 mph in first gear starting, then to like 48-49 in second.
Edit- that was a first gear start against the tecate :naughty:

500 was fast at 58mph, but I'm pretty sure I can lose 20-30lbs off of my fat ass and get into the 60's hahaha. Drags were a blast, just wish it wouldn't have been so wet and sticky. I came within a dimes width of dumping the 500 on one of the runs when I got into that mud down there near the end which is what screwed me up. Scared the bejesus out of me. Going 60mph and you cant stop, can't turn, can't slow down. Thing was getting all squirley in it, thought for sure I was gonna tumble but it didn't. Maybe next year we'll run it on 2 different days. Normal stock trikes on one night, and the the really fast stuff the next mornin or something. That'd be real cool.

Kintore,
I was having better luck starting my R in second, by far, but the Kaw would pull worth a thpthpthp in second off the line. After I switched to 1st gear starts I hit 49mph once (acording to Scott), then lost my shift return spring.
My first time dragging, but I'm hooked now. Maybe even MX next year.
p.s. BEAUTIFUL tri-z
I rode a Z most of the weekend after I lost the carrier in my R, not bad :p

I also wanted to drag my Polaris against Mik6's Polaris. We probably wouldn't set any speed records, but it still would have been fun.

Nope, Only pics of a quad I took was where the guy on that raptor fell off the back... I think that was when he was lined up with you. There was alot of fast quads there.. But I was there for trikefest.

The weather did not cooperate, and it was tough to get the drags started. We ended up with only two lanes, instead of 4, which really screwed up our ability to do a good runoff. Billy had the fastest trike there, but he ended up missing a couple of the runoff heats because he was stuck in the mud, and I had not had a chance to get my walkie talkies from so I could communicate with the guys at the end of the track, and I didnt know it. I was frantic from trying to get the track operable. Thanks to the handful of guys on utilities who made some passes on it, and also Oldschoolin, Lots of Nothing, Seadoo650 and his girl, and TimJr who made repeated passes until the track was suitable for racing. Without these people tearing up their equipment to make it raceable, when everybody else had given up, the drags would not have happenned at all. All who raced owe you a big "thank you."
