I hate to get it dirty. Oh yea before somebody busts my balls about those tires.. I ALWAYS run the stock Dunlop KT 576 & KT 577 tires. I just bought these on eBay for the rims............Two pictures are in my yard and and that is the Everglades in the backdrop of the other.

OK once again all you genius readers. Hey badpig121, Where exactaly in my post did I say I just bought the back tires on eBay???????? It looks to me that I said I bought the tires just for the rims. I bent my original front rim, and bought these as a package of all 3. I am waiting on my brand new Dunlops from eBay. I just love it how people open their mouth before they open their eyes. READ..it's easy left to right, top to bottom.

You know Barry Mann, your right, I am editing this post myself because why should I let that smart ass PIG bother me. What pisses me off about this post and most other posts on this board is that nobody actually reads before they comment. I bent my front rim and bought a bunch of front rims and some rears on ebay. I now have 4 front rims and 6 rears. That is the only front rim that had a tire. So I put it on so I can roll the bike around. It is all dry rotted and leaks air. I won't ride on it. I have the best front and the 2 best rears of them all set aside. I also bought brand new tires that are on the way. That being the reason that I have the bike all cleaned up. But I just figured out how to resize some pics and wanted to show off my bike. Now in the post I said i just bought the rims so don't bust my balls, then everybody has to remind me about the tires. I KNOW. I just get so aggravated reading some of these posts that I had to vent. Especially after I read the other post by smart ass PIG BOY..........I wish everybody could read the P.M.. That is where my comments belong.

I only got the privelage of reading the edited post you put up. All I can say is, Dude, you need to relax some. The reason I have trikes to go ride on is so I can vent my frustrations from work and the world, rip some trails or dunes, and RELAX. That is my medium to clear my head. I'm sure 99% of people who ride do the same. I don't know anybody off the top of my head who get's paid to ride a trike.

My point is we're all out there to have fun. Why should this website be any different? We are here to have fun. It gets us by for the period of time between rides. If I make a joke, it is in good humor. I mean you no malice or spite. Let's face it: I don't know you. You don't know me. I have no reason to sit back and bust someones babymakers over the anything, let alone a simple joke over some tires!

Now I haven't recieved a P.M. as of right now, but judging from the colour of your edited post, it probably isn't something you want me to forward to your mother.

Remember this: We are here with the intent to share information, maybe trade or sell some parts, and above all, have fun by sharing our experiences, rides, places to have fun, and pictures of the pride and joy trikes we bust our nads in the name of fun to put together. Let's not get riled up.

I told you twice and I'll tell you a third time just to make sure you hear me: Nice trike. I like to see it when someone puts forth the effort to restore and modify to their own personal liking any peice of history. An old military jeep, a 70's Maico, a 56 Chevy Bel Air, or a sweet 85 250r: They are all a labor of our passion. Anyone who puts forth the effort deserves the credit. You've now recieved the credit three times from me, personally, and I don't think you heard that the first times around.

Trikerider:::: Thanks for posting the pics of the motor for me. The ifranview resizing seemed a little confusing. The new 3 step one is a snap. He never said I bought the tires on ebay. I said it. After bending my original front rim and needing a new one I have been buying up 250R rims. The gold anodizing on them is different. I guess different riding conditions wear rim color differently. Sand mud,rocks all take their toll differently. I bought new Dunlop KT576 and KT 577 tires and want to put them on the best of all the rims I have. I bought the set of 3 that is on there so I would have a matched "looking" set. I bought some fronts and rears all from different ebay members and the mismatched color of the rims bothered me. I just put that set on so I could roll it around. I just bought two more rears since the last post so now I have 8 rears. I am probably gonna take the 3 that are damaged the least and have them all fresh anodized so they look new.

Hey pig, well said. I totally agree and I think most others here feel tha same way. I too am a great appreciator of restored mechanical things of all types (don't get to see too many here in the east). Also glad to see a cop is in to riding and trikes. I have met maybe 2 or 3 cops in my lifetime that were cool with riding (and I've had to meet MANY cops lol!). Mikefortlaud, you got a nice piece there. I myself just got finished with a 250R build up (sort of half ass due to very limited time). You're gonna have a lot of fun with that, I can tell. Hopefully you found a good ebay deal on the tires. I saw someone selling the new OE tire sets for the 250R, and they are getting more money for them than Service Honda sells them for. In case you didn't know, servicehonda.com sells all honda parts at like 30% or more off retail, and the OEM tires are still available from Honda.

I was just watching COPS on tv, man I have to give you police officers credit, you guys risk your lifes for some real pieces of ---- and take a real bunch of ---- from people and do it for a decent, but not "get rich" salary-you deserve a big thank you and merry christmas!!!I could never take that kind of verbal abuse from anyone, and you guys do it everyday with a smile on your face,BRAVO- and thanks to you.:)
