Welcome! Cobra pipes are nice but will blow your ear-drum.If you are mudding, check out the Kenda Bear Claws.

Mudlites are good too, but for trail/mud riding on a hard tail, try to find original Wooley Boogers

Nice to have yet another Mainer on these boards!!
Congrats on your first trike. For tires, I would recommend knobies, they are cheap and go great in the mud. ;)

Unless your stock pipe is complete junk, KEEP IT!
You'll regret that obnoxious Cobra pipe (or any other aftermarket one for that matter).
A Big Red is not an never will be a "hot rod" so enjoy it for what it's designed for....QUIETLY, COMFORTABLY and RELIABLY climbing, hauling and going places you never thought possible. :D
I think Bear Claws are a pretty good buy, aren't they?
I always thought of them as a more "up to date" and "upscale" tire than the 25 year old Wooly Boogers. :p
Congrats on the buy!
You won't regret it.

if youve got 12x9's id get some spider traks...great tires for muddin and trail riding..and the br has enough power to turn them over fine.....if yoiu want a cheaper tire than the kenda bear klaws..check out the carlisle sur traks...they are 6 ply and you can float across creeks if needed..my friends 200 br did it just fine! enjoy your ride man..those br's are beasts!

I advise against 6 ply tires on a hardtail..... they are stiff and will beat you like a red headed step child.. Stick with 2 ply knobies and get at least some cusion.
High/Low is the sub tranny.. you should notice a speed difference.. if you are towing or need more oumph to get thru some sticky stuff.. put in LOW.. but most times.unless you weigh 300 lbs.. keep in in High.
You sure that's not an 83 ???

I have those same 13in wide tires on mine, they are horrible in mud , I think they are to wide cuz I get into mud it dont sink, just gets ontop and spins.

You might wanna check out Maxxis Sur Trax there similar to bear claws and mud lites but they have a 2 ply rating to give you a smoother ride. there pretty cheap @ RMATV
