I just bought some yesterday. They are 33.00 bucks each. You can buy aftermarket ones for about 20 bucks, but they wont last ya 20 years like the originals!

Hi Clare :D
Part number is 51611-HA2-003. Does this mean you've found that elusive R downunder?

Yes indeed i did a nice 1985 model from one of the Aussie members here !

Daystar makes aftermarket boots that look very good and are a closer match to the blue seats than OEM. However, OEM boots do fit better.
Here's the thing with Daystars. There's two sizes. One for 41mm and larger forks (the bulky ones you saw) and one for 38mm and smaller. R forks are 39mm. The 38mm boots rub and "catch" noticably but look tons better. So what you do is find some tubing thats a bit bigger than your R's 39mm forks and stretch those boots out before using them.
These are the smaller Daystars. I get them locally for $16.95.
