Don't know a thing about them. Are they easy to use?

Would you recommend them over a true shop manual?

Example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7981505166&category=34240

They ARE a Honda service manual. Just on a CD. I would rate them the same as a true service manual. Simply because they are the same thing ;).

Get one CD, it's cheaper, and like said before, you don't have to worry about dirtying the manual.

I also have the CD version. Mine is the same as that CD except mine has a whole different section on honda wring color codes, and some carb things. I think they are nice because you can blow up individual pages to see them better and if you rip the print off no big deal, just go print another. Not the case with the book. So I say it is worth the 10-15 dollars for one.

I have a few of the cd manuals. They seem just as good as the factory manuals, in fact most are copied right from them. I still like having the book in front of me when I'm working in the shop, but the CD manuals are cheaper and like the other guys said, you don't have to worry about grease printing the pages.

What did you guys pay for these CD's? Do they usually just cover one model?

i know you posted the link as an example, but i sure would buy from a seller with several positive feedbacks and read what other buyers have said. I haven't bought one on cd, but i got one for my 200S of ebay and it was a photocopied version of the original paper shop manual, the guy physically made copies of it and sold it, didn't know it when i bid on it, doubt that is legal, but oh well.

they are not, alot that sell them say in the listing to only buy if you have the original to help keep them safe if the company that owns the books from sueing them.

They are perfectly legal. At least the ones I have are. They are direct from the Honda company. But of course, there are always people who burn the CD and use a CD labeler for the label.
