hi this is my atc250r speedo set up....it's taken along time to get the parts together for this one...but worth it :D i must thank Bruce 'hondaline' Hartman for the sub-harness and speedo bracket...although did'nt use the bracket (going on the 350x) the sub harness is mega rare :D
for all you who want to know the top speed....the can get it to about 70mph but running out of track before i max out.....i'm going to run it down the highway(one of my other wheelers is street legal, just swop the plates) when i make a bracket to mount the camera to get some max speed shots

I also got my trike (350x) up near the 70mph range when i test run it on the road. At 55-60 i can feel the tires "grow" somewhat. And that is when i started wondering what speeds my tired are rate for.
Looking good Pete !

hey John
i know what you mean at 60 it gets a bit hairy......i thought the highway would easier to keep it i a striaght line......
have you put the tacho on yet?? if so does the 350x red line?
i'm working on a tacho setup for the 350.....it is a honda tacho but only goes to 7000rpm do you hit 7000rpm in gear??

NICE.... awesome work. I am very close to putting a speedo on my X, I have now got all the parts (although the gearbox is a 250es one), just waiting to see if I can trade with Bruce for a 350x gearbox.
So you're putting a non-origional tach on your 350X? If so let me know how that works, and what you had to do to make it work. I could use that as a temporary tach until I find a real Hondaline one.
Thanks!
Phil

Yes i have my tach in place but haven't rode it hard to see what speed/rpm is (yet).
Anything past 60mph i won't be paying much attention to the gauges :)
