I see no reason to waste a perfectly good 250r on one of these. Go buy a bw350.

not really wasting anything. there are no frame mods invloved. just remove the pivot bolt. slide this on and change the plastic. installation takes about 45 minutes. no BW350 would keep up with it :D

His is way cool. It's based on th e250r but has a cr500 motor bored & stroked to a 610! :shock: Says kit price is 1565. Shows a phone nuber with an oregon zip code too. 503-259-9395. Let us know if you find anything out.

That kit looks pretty cool. Slap it on when your buddies take out their CR's and smoke them. It would do better in tight woods considering its narrower.

Thanx for the info, I'm gonna e-mail him in a few--I rode a yamaha bw200 at the dunes over MLK weekend and it was a blast. Not super fast but it would dune the biggest dunes with my 280lb ass on it. When I would ride my kx250 in the dunes it wears you out fast cause if you let off the gas, you fall! This bike would float and ride very soft everywhere, I would like to convert my R over every once in a while for a dune trip, with all that power and fat wheels it would wheelie everywhere and be a real headturner--Ill let you guyz know what I find out :bounce
