I won a pipe for my 84 Tecate off of ebay for the great price of $74.84 shipped and I knew it was aftermarket and that is why I bought it. Anyways. I don't have any pics right now as I have misplaced my camera. Any ways the silencer is round aluminum and it says JP then I think it is supposed to say racing after that but the sticker is rubbed off from the clamp. The outer edges of the sticker is a light blue and the inside is a darker blue/ royal blue. So is this a JP silencer? I just have never heard much about tecate pipes other than the DG's. Anyone know anything about this pipe? If it is a JP did the make pipes also? And is there anyway to tell if is actually one? Well I hope someone on here knows about my new pipe and silencer. Thanks.

im sure someone can ID it when you get a pic up.. why dont you just right click+save picture on the ebay auction and then post the ebay pic on here?

cool, how does the pipe sound? Is it very loud or just right? I am not putting it on for a while yet as I am rebuilding the tecate right now.
