Guess you shouldn't have sniped that head out from underneath me! :naughty:

Hmmmmm.... do a better search on ebay. There's a NOS 200ES speedo mounting kit on their right now.... no bids last time I looked.... opening of $39.99 or so... or is it $29.99??? Anyhow... go take a look... ;) Can't do ALL the work for you!

Hondaline Hartman

PS - The wires should "splice' into the same colors in the back of your headlight...

PSS - this is what you need.... can't post the link here, but here's a pic of the beast!

Maybe 20 bucks... the 200e gearbox is by far the most common.

Looks like the black rubber and clamp that goes around the lower fork.... maybe something to do with the assessory outlet? Seems like that was a 83/84 Big Red addition... however, I don't think the speedo would interfer with it!

looks like a clamp to hold the cable next to the fork, eh?

Congrats!!!! Make sure you post pics when you get her all installed.

Darn, all we're missing to have speedo's on all of our ATC's is a friggin cable for the 200e. (Except for the displays of course but those are readily available.)

Hey, dblshockpower, think you can measure the cable when you get it? I would appreciate it.

Cool... notta problem.... glad you found it and bought it! I debated about buying it, but I already have a 200E kit, just not sure what the difference in the 200ES kit is... Phil... I'll try to dig my 200E kit out of storage and measure the cable for you too... going to send you out some $$$ this week too... with interest~ :p

Yes N.Y., your right, that bracket relocates the D.C. assessory outlet..and the cable is 26" long...the gear drive is smooth but seems to require lots of power to spin? that sound right to you guys?

Gearboxs do turn hard, that's the way they're supposed too (don't know why though :wondering )

So that's what the difference is... the 200es has a outlet while the 200e does not, so Honda had to make a bracket to relocate it... cool...

26 inches??? Darn, I'm having a hard enough time fnding a 28"! Thanks for measuring it though.
