Big Red backfireing through the carb?

Its been backfireing through the carb alot latley, what is casuing it?

mine does it too but mine also doesnt idle.

Loose valves, incorrect timming, very richly jetted......my money is on the valves tho they get neglected when service time comes most often than not.
