Just an FYI --These are NOT for an 86/87 tecate--

I'm not sure if the 85 and 85s are exactly the same but these are for the early tecates. Blast and powder and they'll be nice.

Thanks for the information. I was wondering what year they were for. Didn't you buy some swingers ('86) a little while back?

Yeah if they were for the 86/87 I would have it the buy it now when I first saw irt this morning for another set for my 87. I myself even had to pull mine out to compare

I found a nice set on ebay that were not bent, rusted or dinged up--(still need to be repowdered though)-- They set me back 200.00 after the bidding was over. Its hard to find nice ones for this model year.

I wonder what people put on there T3s when they dont have the stock ones.

I think I saw TRIZTUNES win an aftermarket blue skid plate once for the 86 T3 but I am not sure what brand it was or what other ones may be out there.

Well right now I pray every time I see rocks on the trail. I don't have anything which sucks. Guess if I want to get a stock set then I'll be paying more than I thought.

just so you experts know...they all look similar. these look like the 86/87 to me (the short disc one at least) they look the same as the ones i have, they all interchange with a bit of tweaking

I dont profess to be an expert but these are different that my 86/87 ones right down to the number of the holes in the brackets to the placement of the brackets- They look close but close doesnt cut it when you go to bolt somenthing up. I just posted this so no one jumped on them and ended up getting something they didnt expect.

Hi,

That blue rear swing arm guard I won on ebay was made by dura blue.

If you have a extended swing arm you can not use it.

Thanks
