1984 Honda Xl

I got the bike for $50 and it has everything except the rear assemble for the brakes n the axle n all that i have the back tire n it has air .... The bike has head light brake light turning signals front and back , dual shocks and a speedo its a pretty nice bike considering the age ... it sat in a back yard under a bunch or crap for a good while because everythnig is locked up all that . it was siezed but after i took the top end apart to my surprise it took two hits of a hammer to free the piston up from the jug but it was filled wit rusty water and stuff and think a new piston and rings will be good but i cleaned it up and everything works wut i need help is after i cleaned everythnig n put the wiring harness back on i could not get spark so i need help with that the thing has a key switch to but it on run and the key was lost a while back so it was clipped , advice ?......... i also have a honda 200 s engine in which the top end fits the 125 BUT the guide near the timing chaining ,the timing chain and the lonh screws the hold the top end together are all to short there the same year would it be wise to try to put the 200 on it or bore out the other motor ...... suggestions and advice and w/e will be highly apreciated
