Welp here it is almost completely finished, now all I need to do is a different exhaust and a few other things here and there. Lately I put a lot of time into it and money. The handling is now amazing with the lighter weight and extended axle. The throttle response along with the bottom end and midrange power was increased with a Power Pack for the carbuerator. Alot of misc. stuff was added like new graphics, stickers, fuel filter, new fork seals, new clutch, 18 in Fast Trekkers, along with new shock and fork covers. Here are the pics, Ill get some more soon.

Looks pretty good. I saw you running around at TrikeFest but never got up close to it. Seems like you were kicking some arse during the motocross races but then it seems like you had some problems. How's it run against the newer 450's? Definately a one of a kind setup.

Holy moly! You guys are blowing me away everytime I get back on here. Thats the coolest trike I've ever seen, bet its a blast to drive.

So you grafted the TriZ arm onto the YZ arm and pressed the YZ stem into the Triz tripples?

That is a VERY nice conversion and a fine example of what 3 wheelin is all about. So, when are you gonna sell it?

Its not the prettiest thing I've seen...but then again....anyone around you will just see a blue blur fly by them! Awesome job you've done...I drool every time I see it!

Thanks for the replies guys, Im not sure how it stacks up against the new 450s cuz Ive never raced one. I cant wait till September either, its gonna b a blast. Its getting a stock 426 silencer with a larger core in it, along with a larger headpipe and mid pipe. The front end is from a 86 Tecate along with the rear swinger but the axle is a RPM Dominator from a 400ex. I highly doubt I ever sell this one, its my pride and joy. Even though it isnt the prettiest thing right now Im hoping it will be by september.

That's probably the only time most people get to see the front end of it...when it's parked. Looks great. Can't wait to see it next June in action. Keep up the good work.

I like it, very similar to a concept I have had in my head for a while now. Hes something that noone else has asked though, what kind of car is that in the garage?

I'm waiting on some parts but hopefully I'll get a test ride in next week. I don't expect to have the motor turned up to a 440 or all the cosmetic details worked out untill TF06 though. :beer

3Wheels, lookin' good. It's nice to see a dirt bike converted to a 3 wheeler without a huge extended swingarm on it. Makes me wonder how other dirt bikes would look. Do you think it's going to require an extended arm on it?

3WheelsForever
08-16-2005, 08:06 PM
No it doesnt require much of an extended arm. Its a plus 2 86 Tecate Swinger. When and where you can get traction itll lift the front end up without much or any effort. I would have origianally had a stock length 86 T3 swinger but it didnt offer as much stability as the plus 2.
Id like to see what the performance would be with a fresh top end because right now my top end is perty tired. It will more than likely get rebuilt this winter.

Hey, is that from a cannondale? NICE! I put a works on my Tri-Z last week :naughty:

Derrick Adams
08-17-2005, 05:31 AM
If that is from a Cannondale, you'll want to set it up with no linkage. I heard they don't work real well with it. Supposedly, they were designed specifically to be run without it.

3WheelsForever
08-17-2005, 01:17 PM
Yah I dont have a linkage anyway. In the ebay ad it said it is made for atvs w/o linkages so I figured itd be perfect for mine.

Dammit!
