ok i just had one of my dads friends rebuild my head for me..he grinded the valves and re seeled them and did the works..he even glass blasted or somethin and got the head and cylinder both aluminum colored again...he honed the cylinder and he helicoiled some of the threads that were stripped...particularly the exhasut stud holes cause i couldnt even put my exhaust on ....ok heres the probem...its on the frame and alll/...but i tok my clutch cover case deal off to clean out my oil pump and all..well i got that back on and now my kicker will not go at all unless i push really hard...and then it will NOT recoil...so i cant start it...and i cant figure it out...i dunno but its makin me mad cause it looks all nice and everything now..well except that i have no rear fenders....but thats it! i got brakes and allbut i need to figure out this kicker to start it...o and school started again so my summer is gone..lol

Gotta be something with the return spring .. or part of the kicker assembly is not together properly.
If you have the manual.. read thru line by line how to take it apart and back together a few times..... i find the clymer manuals to be mind numbing to read but after a few re-reads eventually they make sense.
If you don't have the manual... go to www.partsfish.com and look at the diagrams to see if everything is proper.
Don't pry on it hoping it will fix itself...... you will only bend and break stuff....

If it happened when the clutch cover was removed, something might have gotten in the clutch and jammed it up. Id take apart the last thing worked on (clutch) and look in there. If the clutch is removed, thatll split the trans from the engine so you can tell which way to go.

well i just attatched my clutch handle and pulled it right in..i dunno why it wouldnt move before..and i guess i just had one of the gears in the wrong place because i took them out and alligned the dots..i didnt think about that the first time..and it works fine now also...so now its time to put the remaining things on and wait till monday to get gas cause i donnt have any money till then..lol...and then i guess well see what happens..i gotta put the last mounts on and then then back half of the exhaust and tighten up my rear shock mounts cause i took it off and pressure washed it...and the airbox..i gotta figure out y it doesnt latch...and then put the boot on and i gotta find the little arm that goes to the master cylinder to the foot pedak brake...then i should be good to go after i bleed them!

well...it runs...it runs fine too on choke and no choke...but it smokes like a freight train!! and leaks oil from the cdi...again...so now i gotta fix that dam seal and wait a bit for some money to come my way and get a piston kit and bore it out...cause i hate puttin in a quart of oil with each 1/2 tank of gas..lol..good thing the cheap stuff is in there right now...but it runs strong for a 200s piston ...its weak tho..compared to the x piston this thing can only pull a wheelie in first...second if i try hard enough...i need to get some gas and go ride..lol...its been so long...im going to go make an add in the classifieds right now...o yea ..hey chris...i won that contest..i rode mine today...lol lawnmowers have good gas!
