Hello guys, I need some skills to help me out here-I need someone to take this pic and make it have...
Yamaha Blue frame, rad shrouds and airbox and front fork boots and headlight

White fenders with silver rims. And make the seat...Blue too. thanks guys! :p

Thinking of color combos, dont want to take away from someones thunder of the gray/black/white scheme.

That looks really trick man...wow!!

Interesting the 1988 Banshee was that exact color scheme (although the blue was darker). I believe that if the Tri Z was produced in 1988 it would have followed.

Remember the 1st two years of the banshee were red and white.

It's really not hard. If you guys have photoshop I'll tell you how I do it. I did that one in less than five minutes.

That pic of your R is awesome. Looks like the blue 70's and 110's that came out in 83 and 84. Those things were so pretty when new.

Can you do another one of your R like that...??? Love that look!!

Presto chango!

Ok, here's the fastest way to do it.

Open up the pic you want to use in photoshop, then open a copy of it. Drag the copy into the other pic and then center it. Now with the top layer selected (should be by default) go to "image/adjust/hue-saturation". This brings up a tool panel with three sliders on it. Hue, saturation and lightness. Moving the hue slider will change the color of everything on the top layer. Adjust that and use lightness slider to tweak the brightness until you have your fenders the way you want then click ok. Now use the polygonal lasso tool (main tool bar, 2nd down from the top on the left, you might have to click and hold for a second to get the option to change it from normal to polygonal). Use the lasso to highlight sections of the image to cut away (revealing the non altered duplicate below). Do this until everything is back to normal except the parts you wanted to change the colors of. Use the eraser to clean it up.

That's the fast way. The more accurate way is to use the lasso tool to highlight each individual part you want to alter and use the hue/saturation menu to do them all independantly. Having the unaltered layer behind the one your working on saves time because you can just erase anything you accidently changed but didn't want to.

It's easier than it sounds. Just dig in and experiment. Unlike a real trike, you can't break anything. :welcome:

Edit: almost forgot. The way to do black is to use the saturation slider instead of hue. Drop it all the way to the left (zero, black and white) and then use the lightness slider to darken it.

Edit again: White and black are non-colors as far as a computer is concerned so you can't use the hue trick to change white or black to a different color. You'd have to use the airbrush which actually does take a lot of skill and time to do right.
