baja lights on a CRF450?

I got a stock 02 CRF450..I was wondering how i could install a baja light kit? Do i need a stator? or can i use the one i got..I dont think i can but figured id ask soneone out here. I called honda and 1 dude said i could and someone else said No way! haha So what it is yes or no? THanks :)

You need a lighting coil, so you'll have to buy a kit for it. Baja Designs sells them, or you could probably find one on ebay. Have you checked Thumpertalk.com? The guys there know just about everything there is to know about your bike.

you need a special stator, baja designs sells it, also you need a voltage regulator.
