Hello,

I am curious about purchase/ installation of tubes into my tires. The front tire will not hold air. It is an old split rim. The tires are weather checked really bad, but have good tread left. If I purchase a tube (where and what size) can I install it myself? I have never done this before.

If I chose to buy new tires/ rims, what size tires and rims would be good for my '74 atc90?

Thanks again for all of the help......

I think I answered for myself. Here is a decent link for those interested.

I will try my local honda dealer for tubes. If that doesn't work, I will try the Tractor Supply.

I suppose at some point I will need new tires anywhays..........When the trike is in tip top shape. I just want to get it going for now.

We used to do it on tubeless tires for racing hare scrambles to help prevent flats, good idea IMO.

just take it to a tire shop and have them throw it in for $10. And yes as long as the tire is pumped up the tube will hold.

On my lawnmower tires, i need tubes/air. I also throw in that green Slime for extra protection. 40 bucks each for carlisle tires...NUTS!
