Hey Folks!

Look what I stumbled upon.
These pics are after I unloaded it from the trailer.
No wash, no Armor All, nothing.
A 1987 (yes, it IS an '87) 250ES Big Red.
MAN, is it nice.
ALMOST mint condition.
I'm awestruck.
It came with the original Certificate of Origin, manual and warranty card.
My wife and I made a banzai run 100 miles from here last night and picked it up....along with an '86 200X (not pretty but runs excellent).

What do you all think??

I'm sure I'm being over analytical but the only flaws on it are some VERY light scuffs on the rear fenders, a scratch or two on some decals and some chips on the rear rack but overall? Astounding.

That is one of the nicest BRs I've ever seen. Those tires still have the little titties on them, were they replaced?

Very nice looking. Those look like the original tires to me, and they still have the chalk lines on them. If they are in fact the originals, and the chalk lines are still on there like that.. I'm surprised that ANYTHING is wrong with that bike. How many hours are on it?

Very nice find man....how did you convince the owner of that big red to sell it to you lol?? Were you looking for an '87 or did you just get lucky?

I just stumbled on it and it was within driving distance (200 miles round trip).
I've always wanted a late-model BR but NEVER thought I'd find an '87! :w00t:

The tires were replaced by the previous owner.
They're correct-for-87 and purchased-from/installed-by his local Honda dealer.

I'll probably begin the detailing process today. :Bounce

You ought to see it's engine and under-seat area close up. Unreal.
Spotless.

Thanks for all the compliments, folks. :)
