Ok on my tecate there is an arrow on the reed cage, When I was trying to get this beast running this spring I figured the arrow was to be pointing up. BUT i just got my service manual for it and it says that the arrow should be pointing down. Now what would this to do to my performance? Also I am looking to get after market reeds for it. Is it better to get the entire reed cage and reeds or just get the petals for the stock cage? I believe the the only choices for reed cages are boyseyn and delta. What ones would be better? Thanks for the help. :TrikesOwn

I have the deta cage on mine and it rips. The cage is adjustable to benefit bottom end or topend power. Carbon Boyeseen reeds in a stock cage are fine too.
The arrow shouldn't affect your performance, the cage is the same upside down as it is right side up.

Yea I kind of thought that it shouldn't matter either but the manual says the arrow must point down, so who knows. I was most likely going to get the deltas also.
