Mikes right, It DG or Yamaha unless you want to pay big bucks for a custom made pipe. I have one on mine, and its seems to deliver more low end than stock.
Only pipe available for my trike is a Cobra, it's like 105 dollars. Are they any good?(YTM200..)

Cobra is a good inexpensive OEM replacement if yours rots out, but wont alter performance much. They also tend to be a bit on the loud side.
Damn, I was looking for something to increase performance :( Louder would be nice, but for 105 bucks my OEM works just fine.

i have a DG pipe and silencer on mine, i have never ridden it with the stock exhaust... compared to my friends pipes blaster, its probably twice as loud. Does anyone know why its so much louder? is it just cause its a race motor?

The DG pipe is supposed to give a bottom end boost and a high increase in sound but for you to get any real peerformance out of a pipe for these badboys I think a custom pipe is the way to go. I am going to guess around 280 for the pipe from FTZ or Jerry Hall. I talked to Jerry Hall a couple of days ago about making some pipes for my tri-rz, he no longer has a full time pipe builder on hand so he will be making the pipes himself. I don't know if any of you are familar with his products since he is PHX based but around these parts he is the man. So 280 for a pipe custom hand built by Jerry himself isn't that bad of a deal. If any of you are intrested in talking to him about getting a pipe made let me know and I will forward his info to ya---Good Luck!!

You can repack some mufflers... after a while the wadding inside them blows out, adn they get louder and louder until theres no wad left...

the stock pipe is useless. the dg pipe and silencer works well.if you perform the yamaha wrench report mods with the dg pipe there is a big power difference. the power hits harder and later. you won't be dissapointed. hey mike from li what's up.
